Joe Sims, a Bristolian actor, trained in both the UK and the US. In 2012, he won an Offie (People's favourite male performance) for his performance as an accused killer in "As We Forgive Them," at the Arcola Theatre in London.
Joe’s best known for playing Nige Carter in ITV’s Broadchurch and Vincent Tabak in BAFTA winning The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies. In addition to his appearances on TV, in the theatre, and in films, Sims has more than 100 radio credits to his name, including a run on the British radio drama "The Archers." Joe was nominated for both Best Actor at the 2018 for his portrayal of Charlie Hammond in Oliver Park: Easter Riots & Best Supporting Actor at the 2017 BBC Audio Drama Awards for his portrayal of a suicidal boxer in Al Smith's award winning drama "Lifelines". |
